The bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is a handsome bird - assuming of course that you are not anything it wishes to eat. Feeding mainly on fish, which it scoops up from the surface of the water in mid flight it will also scavenge on carrion.
About Steev Stamford
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.
