A digital composite image of an Avro Lancaster bomber on a practice run on one of the Derwent dams in the Peak district of Debyshire. As a pracice run the Lancaster is in full moon conditions and is showing navigation lights - neither would be the case on the real runs.
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.
