urness Abbey - also known as St Mary of Furness was once the second most powerful and of course wealthy in the country (Fountains being the first). It was destroyed on the orders of Henry VIII in 1537 during the reformation. I am a CAA licensed drone operator - details can be verified on the CAA website.
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.
