An aerial image of Talacre beach in Flintshire, Wales and the now disused Talacre (more properly known as Point of Ayr) lighthouse that overlooks the Irish sea. Built in 1776 and falling into disuse in 1884 it remains a popular place to visit and gets cut off from the land at each high tide.
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.
