This is the northern end of the Woolwich foot tunnel in London. It is just one of the foot tunnels under the river Thames that not too many people know even exist. In this image you can see it slope down quite steeply, then the angle level out once it is below Thames level.
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.
