Artist's Description
On the bank of the Thames in London is this rather large Ferris wheel known over the years by many names depending on who owns it at the time, but pretty much universally known as The London Eye. This unusual viewing angle makes for a rather abstract image.
About Steev Stamford
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.

Excellent view of this iconic landmark. Love the abstract treatment.
