The present Bath Abbey (the original was ruined after the dissolution of the monasteries in 1539 by order of Henry VIII), was completed in 1611. It is the starting point for most of the local tour guides and during daylight getting a clear shot is pretty much impossible.
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.
