President is a steam powered narrowboat and part of the Black Country Living Museum display. It spends a lot of time during the boating season out and about promoting the museum, raising funds and providing educational opportunities, Seen here under bridge 1 on the Grand Union canal at the Braunston Historic Boat Gathering, Braunston, UK
I'm a UK based freelance photographer who particularly likes old things, churches, industrial heritage, old machinery . . . and then by contrast like nature and wildlife too. I'm a dedicated tripod geek - my camera very rarely gets used 'off tripod' as many of my shots are taken in low light or require large DOF. Sometimes I shoot an image for use 'as is' - but I also like to get creative so shoot with the intention of combining multiple exposures - another great reason for being on the tripod. Just about the only thing you won't see in my portfolio are people.
